I recently bought the 7600x and ended up returning it to get the 9600x instead. The 9600x is about 5% more with similar performance, but uses 1/3rd less wattage, which also means 1/3 less heat to dissipate. It helped my thermals and fan noise a bunch.
It’s funny, I listened to Adrenaline first, decided it wasn’t for me and forgot about Deftones for a couple years. Finally listened to Saturday Night Wrist and loved it and literally every other Deftones album after that.
The differences in albums has been more subtle, but I thought what they did with Pink Cellphone and the instrumental only Konami Code were unique to their music.
There’s lots of advice here, but I don’t think anyone has mentioned removing the distractions that pull your attention away. Phone, tv and video games are big ones for me. I have a rule that while i’m working on making a game, that I don’t regularly play other games, and it makes me much more productive. If you can stop yourself from doomscrolling, you’ll probably be more motivated to do all kinds of things.
