Ukraine has proven even consumer grade drones are super key in modern warfare. Therefore our government would really not like it’s populace to have them.
ICE Goons are starting to understand that their faces will be scanned and they will be prosecuted with extreme prejudice after the shitler regime ends, AND IT WILL. There are regretful NAZIs giving their first bonuses back (yes, before taxes) and QUITTING! DHS CAN’T KEEP OR GET NEW AGENTS and the ones that do stay now understand they are TRAPPED as that whole bonus structure falls apart with ANY perception of loss of loyalty or the need for disciplinary action within the agency.
Based on previous non GOP administrations I doubt that ICE or the current administration will see meaningful prosecution.
The system needs to break down completely so we can rebuild if we want something like that.
They were always sacrificial pawns. The administration has been salivating over one of them getting killed so that they can invoke Artical 2 and call for martial law.

They absolutely are. The admin doesn’t care about them, their lives, or their livelihood. They will absolutely throw them all under the bus if it means they can avoid accountability. You saw it with what ended up happening to Bovino. Noem ran to Trump to save her skin so they rolled over on him as the leadership to blame for the killings. When consequences come around, and they will come around be it through the established justice system or mob justice (if the Trump admin keeps breaking the justice system), they will try to blame ICE lower leadership and all the foot soldiers for making the decisions as a defense.

Honestly with all these Drone = CCP rhetoric in the news… I’m kinda scared to fly drones nowadays especially under this admin since… well I’m ethnic Chinese and I was born in China so I have this paranoid of being falsely accused of being a “CCP Spy” or some bullshit like that… idk if I’d feel safe flying drones anymore… not since january 2025 … not in the forseeable future…

The administration would just love to find some american of chinese extraction to accuse of spying. It doesn’t matter if it’s demonstrably false, look at Pretti and Good. We had irrefutable evidence and they still called them terrorists, and never admitted they were wrong, even as they backed down for the time being. They didn’t charge the agents that murdered them in bad faith either, as the States didn’t either abdicating their duty and surrendering the 10th amendment, but that’s another story.
The administration doesn’t care how demonstrably false the accusation is, their segment of the population believes them, or pretends to, and it includes most of the judges and prosecutors. Last term we saw a bunch of bad faith prosecutions as I recall of academics. Spying by China does happen, but a lot of these weren’t that, the administration, and the party, doesn’t care about truth or justice, they will use and abuse anyone, they believe in nothing.
The ironic thing is my views are anti-CCP… so I’m gonna end up in a situation where both the governments of PRC and USA declares me an enemy…

Even moreso because the president and china are in bed together, despite using each other as foils domestically. US corporations are over their heads investing in China on 99 year leases, factories they built with western capital, and brought over western machines and technology, to take advantage of low wages and environmental laws, and sell out the unions and higher wages here.
As such China has a veritable veto on the US, they could take that massive investment in whole or in part, and the US president is Wall Street’s bitch as much as any before him. The Chinese are known for pursuing their expatriates that have been critical of the country too, so the us administration would be perhaps more likely to falsely accuse an expatriate on the outs with their regime than otherwise, as they are just using each other for domestic politics while inextricably linked economically.
If you’ve got nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear.

That’s easy to say, but that information is not super easy to come by, in my experience. Someone has to build that shit, even if it is “simple.” It’s still expensive and there’s a huge learning curve most of us haven’t even touched.

The government has a shitload of them all ready to roll out. The NJ thing in 2024 was a test project, that was clearly homeland security fuckery given the US denied knowledge but also insisted they weren’t a threat. SUV sized drones with flashing lights and whatever else.
We need to think about defenses against drones. Perhaps kamikazee drones, with thermite ramming heads even. It’s an uphill battle but the sooner we think about it, the more we will be able to protect ourselves when the social order breaks down. Although I would advise biding your time until that happens and not giving yourselves away during the reign of terror that will precede the social collapse.
Maybe we’ll see a resurgence of kite photography. Modern camera tech should make it especially light and awesome.
