When consequences come around, and they will come around be it through the established justice system or mob justice (if the Trump admin keeps breaking the justice system), they will try to blame ICE lower leadership and all the foot soldiers for making the decisions as a defense.

Based on previous non GOP administrations I doubt that ICE or the current administration will see meaningful prosecution.
