minus-squarenilloc@discuss.tchncs.delinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up8·3 hours agoA lot of folks use the term highway to mean interstate highway or elevated or separated highway, where bikes and pedestrians are prohibited. I usually use the word freeway for those types of roads, but that shouldn’t include tollways which usually also prohibit bikes and pedestrians.
minus-squarerm_rf@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkarrow-up8·6 hours agoWhat does the state of the highway have to do with traffic lights? Are the ones in need of repair have less traffic lights?
minus-squareFiskFisk33@startrek.websitelinkfedilinkarrow-up2·6 hours agoWhat the fuck. Oh well, in civilized countries at least.
minus-squareAmerica@sh.itjust.worksOPlinkfedilinkarrow-up5·6 hours agoI’ve checked several European states and china and each one of them has traffic lights on highways. I think there might be a misunderstanding. Freeways lack traffic lights, highways move slightly slower and can have traffic lights
