If Vaporeon qualifies despite its appearance because it evolved from something that was based on a fox, then Suicune shouldn’t qualify despite its appearance because it’s based on a leopard.
Also, I don’t know what that Vulpix is from but they aren’t blue (switch it for an Alolan one?). I’m guessing it’s some fan-made sprite because it’s sort of similar to a couple of real ones.
What about Sonic the Werehog? I’m pretty sure they meant wolfhog.

Suicune evolved(?) from a Vaporeon, if you pay attention to certain pokemon game lore.
Three pokemon (Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon) were trapped in the ‘burnt tower’ when it burned down. Ho-Oh saved them and revived them into the three ‘legendary dogs’.
Sure maybe, except they’re the legendary beasts, not dogs. I don’t think it’s ever actually said that they were Vaporeon, Jolteon & Flareon, that’s just fan theory because the types fit satisfyingly. It’s always “three unknown Pokémon” which for all we know could have been the beasts to begin with. It’s not confirmed either way but there’s just as much in-game evidence to suggest they evolved in the Darwinian sense from Walking Wake depending on which version of Sada you believe 🤷♂️
Up to OP which way they want to go with that, but fact is their designs were based on a lion, tiger and leopard, and Eevee being based on a fox was OP’s justification for including Vaporeon in the previous topic.

I could swear I saw it in one of the games, or maybe even the anime? But it’s been a while and I can’t for the life of me remember which one.
But I’m like 90% sure that some instance of official media at least strongly suggested that those were the three pokemon in the tower.
nope it was nameless, unknown pokemon that died. it wasnt the eevelutions, it was Fan theory in the reddit subs.
