Fine enough, wasn’t $15 per blade.
My car is shitty enough that the store brand blades that cost $8 each work better with it than any other pricier blade I have ever used.
But, the real move? Hydrophobic (water repellant) coating. Once applied, you’ll never need to touch the wiper stalk. Rain-X is my go-to, mostly because of availability, but others do exist out there. It’s also really cool how the beads just blow off as soon as you accelerate.
My favorite thing is when it rains on a fresh glass coating and wax. The way water beads up on newly waxed paint is gorgeous to me.
Isn’t rain-x one of the worst products for the environment tho?
Newer formulations aren’t as bad. The silicone in it tends to be inert. It’s not perfect, but absolutely pales in comparison to tire degradation, oil leaks or any of the dozens of other chemicals coming off your car. It’s just not widespread enough to really impact much IMO.
