Avocado. I heard much about these fruits/berries/whatever. But I am a poor guy from a very poor and totally non-tropical country. So apples and carrots are the sweetest things around and apples become too expensive too.

Still I bought a few. Just out of curiosity. It tastes like… butter block. Internet says that it should be this way. So… Why people eat it? Maybe it is bad alone and\or raw, but after some preparation it is delicious?

Am I missing something?

I would say definitely it’s a side dish, not something that you eat alone. It’s also very good to put slices on toast. Add pepper and salt on top. You can also drink it as smoothie. It finds its way to salads like egg salad (eggs, avocado, onion, mayo, mustard). Btw, butter tastes good raw 😄

My girlfriend’s dog managed to break into a cooler bag I had. What was he after? The plant-based butter I had in there. Bro destroyed the bag so bad we had to toss it out, and all because he wanted butter.

Don’t let anyone tell you it can’t be enjoyed on its own.
