Maybe so at this point in history. Don’t be surprised when Ford implements it or something similar at a later date. Ads are in most everything now and they have already sold your data to insurance companies.
Transfered from Feddit.ch as they closed up shop unfortunately.

lemmy.today works just fine
It came in an email.
Find his information in a data breach and log into one of his accounts. Post something to prove it and show him how important it is to care about privacy/security
Just gotta spread the word. I got two people to switch from Windows to Linux recently. When they heard about an alternative they got very interested and jumped on the opportunity. People want an alternative, but like you say they don’t know one exists, so we need to keep spreading the word of Linux.
PS. They both are enjoying the ad free experience and don’t have any big issues or problems with Linux. Just learning pains
Thank you for the info. I’m glad that my recommendation fits the bill
I don’t know what TWS means or maybe it’s a brand. I have ISOTunes Free Aware and there is no app.
I hope this is the awakening you need to get rid of Apple devices, as well as all crappy spy devices, and use a privacy friendly setup such as GrapheneOS.
This is the way of the world now. Definitely avoid it. Keep spreading this information so eventually and hopefully people will boycott this behavior and thus companies will have to stop this if they want anyone to purchase it.
The policies for this game are the worst I’ve ever seen. They cover basically every aspect of your life. It should be illegal
SLNT (aka Silent Pocket) and GoDark
Oh it’s being sold as an eBook now. Maybe I’ll pick it up.
Good to know. Hopefully they don’t find a way to negate uBlock
I believe NextCloud has this ability
I login to the student outlook email on the web and use OnlyOffice with Microsoft fonts installed. Presentations and Documents work as needed. I got a fellow student to switch to Linux and he’s had no issues either.
I’ve been loving Organic Maps with voice directions using Sherpa-Onnx. Hugging Face has a web page to test the voices before picking an APK
If one has a more up to date Android version I’d go with that
In that case those people probably wouldn’t be on Graphene anyways. If they’re open minded enough to try Graphene they’re probably open to trying new apps such as Aegis.
Not that I’m aware of
I used to have a SanDisk Extreme Portable running Ubuntu. If it was unplugged, my computer would boot Windows and when I plugged in the SSD to USB it would auto boot into Ubuntu.
I have no idea how I did it though. It was my first time using Linux and I followed a guide online.Edit: found the video
