Of course it should be treated very seriously. It won’t, but it should. The government threatening the people is literally what the 2nd amendment is about.
War crimes only apply to war. For example, the use of chemical weapons is a war crime, but their use against your own population is apparently fine and dandy.

26·6 days agoThe issue is not whether people are willing to do it, but whether they should be allowed to.
I can’t think of any situation where disallowing people from repairing their own property makes any sense. The only ones it makes sense to are the ones who profit from it.
Having been unofficial IT guy in a few places, when I contact any type of tech support, I give them a list of steps I’ve taken to try and solve the issue, which usually includes rebooting as a first or second step.

Linux@lemmy.ml•Should there be something that installs Linux to disk directly from Windows?
4·11 days agoYou could just have a UI that runs you through all the questions and prompts from Windows and then reboots and installs a new OS without any other interaction.
You could even have it ask which files/folders the user wants to transfer over so they don’t lose everything.

“Natural” and “artificial” flavors are determined by how they’re made/obtained, not by what the ingredient itself is. You can have the same ingredient labeled as either artificial or natural.

It’s an NVME drive, so there are no cables involved.
It doesn’t have an NTFS partition on it. It’s the default Bazzite install which is FAT, Ext4, and BTRFS
But how did he take a picture of himself from that far away?

Consumers are not the problem. Advertising and marketing are VERY effective at convincing people to do things that go against their own interests. You can try your best to be sceptical of everything, but someone’s gonna convince you to spend money where you don’t really want to.
