I’m a fan of Fifth Element. Super enjoyable and there is a lot going on. It took a few watches before I realized the protagonist and the antagonist never actually meet in the movie.

They didn’t invade Hong Kong, it was given back to China from the British after the 99 year lease expired. The violence in Hong Kong was to destroy the concept of democracy among the citizens there.

I wonder if this would work for a stuffed up nose.
