The log reading workaround seems to solve that issue in my case. The only catch is that I need to allow this permission once (there’s a graphical prompt - the adb commands aren’t needed) when I start the app for the first time, or after force-quitting the background app.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•To Lemmy people who came from reddit: Have you guys tried other fedi software like mastodon or sharkey?
1·4 months agoPerhaps it’s because I haven’t subscribed to a lot of communities here (Lemmy), but I find Mastodon (and Sharkey by extension due to their federation with Mastodon instances) more active than Lemmy.
I’ve got an account in programming.dev (Lemmy), fosstodon.org (Mastodon) and fedia.social (IceShrimp ≈ Sharkey, loosely). I’ve also got a very inactive Reddit account.

Do you mean FOSS project planner or FOSS project planner? Is it exclusively for planning FOSS projects?

6·9 months agoWhy do you try to make Linux seem unusable? It’s not “Linux”'s fault proprietary software doesn’t work on it. Would you criticize GNOME, KDE Plasma etc. and any of the gazillion other pieces of software exclusive to Linux for not working on W*ndows to reach a wider audience next?
CachyOS provides optimised Linux kernels out of the box, leading to significant performance gains. I got a friend to install Cachy on his old computer, and his experience is similar too.
