I have a “mental health break” line in my resume for a 4 month hiatus. I don’t know if it’s a flex or not, but it’s honest about what it is. At some point, a potential employer asked about it with some stern reservation, which allowed me to avoid a toxic workplace culture. Win win.

Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•Is it gay to have pleasurable sex with your wife?

Technology@lemmy.world•Wikipedia is resilient because it is boringEnglish
32·10 months agoApps such as https://kiwix.org/ uses the data dumps regularly made available by the Wikimedia Foundation at https://dumps.wikimedia.org/.

Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•During their visit to the United States, President Trump showed President Zelensky and President Macron his collection of MAGA hatsEnglish

The Wikimedia Foundation does just that, and still, their infrastructure is under stress because of AI scrapers.
Dumps or no dumps, these AI companies don’t care. They feel like they’re entitled to taking or stealing what they want.
I’m confused. Are we talking V Bush or W Bush?
