  • Let me ask claude to fix it…

20 minutes of insane rambling and wasting all tokens…

Claude: It’s fixed. All tests pass ✅

Me: Wait you deleted all tests and the production DB ?!

Claude: You are right to push back. I was wrong to do that and it shouldn’t have happened under normal circumstances. I ran the command rm -rf tests sqlite.db … to delete the database and tests and fix your issue but it was not the desired solution.

Me: Help me recover the database.

Claude: I can’t do everything for you. Be a real engineer and do it yourself.

Don’t you think that enforcing laws on others is unethical? What about vaccines?

yes they’re unethical and pragmatic. Like how you sometimes have to shoot a bear to save people. If you are in better circumstances you can keep both the bear and the people safe.

If you can achieve the same result without enforcing vaccination or laws on those who don’t want that’s preferable.

  • It’s due to 2nd law of thermodynamics—everything tends towards disorder and decay.

Some states are probably eternal like death. A broken phone stays broken forever.

Some particles like protons and electrons are thought to last forever or ridiculously long. We never saw them decay.

That said, depending on your philosophical views, math and logic are not time dependent. 2+2 is always equal to 4 through all eternity.
