No, you can configure the timeout in gpg-agent.conf. I’ve set mine to a few hours.

pass: the standard unix password manager for tech-savvy people. It’s dead simple: just a directory of GPG-encrypted files that you can sync across devices using git or other means. It has a CLI interface, an Android app, and a Firefox extension.

Also, don’t waste your time and money on Blue Tents; the wiki has everything you need to know about them. It still took me 100 hours to reach the final puzzle but I enjoyed it.”

Gaming@lemmy.ml•Do you have a favorite game, like #1 favorite that no game can beat? If yes, which one?
3·4 months agoCeleste is a perfect game. My only complaint is that “it’s just a platform game”, which I don’t find that interesting anymore compared to games like Deltarune. Still, it brings me lots of joy, even on replays.
Use systemd-zram-generator. The process is explain in the DebianWiki and the ArchWiki and this random blog, but it boils down to just a few commands you need to run:
$ apt install systemd-zram-generator $ sudoedit /etc/systemd/zram-generator.conf [zram0] zram-size = min(ram, 8192) compression-algorithm = zstd $ sudo systemctl daemon-reload && sudo systemctl start [email protected]You can tweak the settings above. Fedora recommends using
zram-size = min(ram, 8192), which would correspond to 8GB ZRAM in your case. CachyOS uses a less conservative config withzram-size = ram.To confirm that zram is working, run
zramctl. It should print something likeNAME ALGORITHM DISKSIZE DATA COMPR TOTAL STREAMS MOUNTPOINT /dev/zram0 zstd 8G 430.8M 137.6M 142.9M [SWAP]See also Improving system responsiveness under low-memory conditions.

2·4 months agoAt this level your main concern is avoiding blunders. Go through a mental checklist before making a move: are pieces hanging, can you opponent deliver a check etc.
That’s how you lure them in. At least I’m responsible enough not to casually recommend Omori.
Undertale, In Stars and Time, Blue Prince, and Doki Doki Literature Club are my favorite games that haven’t already been mentioned here. All of them are somewhat dialogue/text-heavy.
Undertale* is a classic and must-play.
*might also make you cry
Visual novels like Doki Doki Literature Club! and Z.A.T.O. // I Love the World and Everything In It come to mind. Both are free and pretty good.
