Unsurprisingly, the sign was less powerful a motivator then methamphetamine.

I would’ve gone with “something something burt ward” for the title.

I have several very important quibbles with this shitpost.

Why does the maga hat say ice? If it’s an ice agent why is the mask still exposing most of his face, and if it’s just a maga dude, why is it wearing a mask like fauci-loving sheeple? Apparently the patient had once said that mashoki was a term of respect. My family’s jewish, and linguists, so i’ve heard a reasonable amount of yiddish.

To me it sounds most like japanese, but the patient has never shown any famaliarity with japan or japenese.

A patient i worked with did this a lot, often using same or similar sounding words.

Medical or technical things were often alosorous, usually too alosorous.

People got described as mashoki or mershoki - i couldn’t tell which it was supposed to be.

There were one or two other ones that came up regularly and a host of one-offs. The only one-off i remember is that my smile was as lovely as a han-gono.

You can be honest: you really want to avoid police involvement. You can ask her what sort of things she’d have to report.

I work in mental health and what she did - stopping to make you aware of what she would legally have to do before you trigger it - that’s in our training.

You’ve hit on a very broken element of the system, and you’re right to point out how useless throwing cops at a situation is without proper supports. Many mandatory reporters know this, and will try to make sure you don’t cross that line unaware. None the less, she could face severe consequences if she doesn’t report something.

I’ve seen a number of your posts, and i think you need more than just therapy - help to access rescources, navigate the maze of disability support, find employment and housing that fits your situation.

If you explain your goals, hopefully she will have some referrals or resources she can direct you to. It sounds like you know you need to get out of there, and you know you need help and time for that to happen.

Not a big AC fan, but this one has more rpg elements than i remember. The plotline moves pretty slowly and feels very disjointed, but that allows for a very scenic travel through the classical greek world, which is the real fun. Seeing it brought to life so vividly is a blast.

I’d say B+ for a history fan, C- if you’re not instantly thrilled at the prospect of meeting herodotos or alkibiades.

The combat mechanics are taken from a game about modern naval warfare, hence bigger Armor Class means easy to hit. It’s unclear why anyone thought ships with guns was a good model for medieval sword fighting. Entire sections of rules have to be ignored - hello encumberance - and gameplay regularly has to stop to look up charts, tables or niche rules like grappling.
