1·2 years agoNotpad++ works in Wine. And I used to run JMP 10 with wine too (data plotting software). Neither required Proton though.
Unpopular opinion maybe: many of the suggestions here are not worth the time.
Buy I’ll add one to the mix:
yt-dlpI use a lot to download YouTube videos. Very robust.
