There is [email protected] as an alternative, but you can’t fault Framasoft for not having enough knowledge of the Lemmy lore to pick that community over the .ml one

The joke is there with the “judgemental asshole who hates the world”

Blaze (he/him)@piefed.socialto Fediverse@lemmy.world•Improving the Fediverse to allow it to actually take over the social media space.English11·7 days agoThe top 25 posts in the least 24 hours would probably mostly show politics, news and tech memes, which aren’t the most attractive content for potential new joiners.
I personally block this type of content, and I’m probably not alone.
Blaze (he/him)@piefed.socialto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Are anti-Lemmy sentiments being botted?English1·8 days agoWe have a single liner pinned on [email protected] that recommends lemm.ee and Voyager to new joiners, so that they can choose between a website and an app. People seem happy with that

Blaze (he/him)@piefed.socialto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•If there were a Lemmy "Hell" where all the bad users went, which instance would it be and why?English2·8 days agoPiefed allows you to actually block other instances rather than hide them like Lemmy does
If people want a change, they can make [email protected] the most active community so that next time it becomes the de facto community
