A good teacher can sometimes get that across, but I suspect it doesn’t really sink in. And if they didn’t teach it with A Midsummer Night’s Dream it’s also a missed opportunity - Romeo and Juliet is satirized during the Pyramus and Thisby play-in-a-play.

Google killed off their own cached pages last month and they’re now using IA as a replacement. Free linking is definitely important, but this is Google we’re talking about, and them using IA to save money - this feels a lot more exploitative if Google isn’t funding them in some way.

I used to lurk on the Pathologic subreddit, the overwhelming consensus there was people recommending they do exactly this and that Pathologic 2 already has enough content to be considered a complete game. I may peek in to see what they think now that it’s actually happened though.

EDIT: apparently IPL has announced on Twitter that anyone who backed the P2 Kickstarter is getting P3 for free. And clearly this is different enough to justify a whole new game rather than, say, a paid DLC (and without charging for the Bachelor route they flat out won’t have enough money to make the Changeling route).

I bought a 2014 MacBook Pro earlier this year, I got a good deal on it partly because it’s got severe delamination issues. With dark mode, it doesn’t really bother me enough to spend several hours with a bottle of Listerine to fix it yet.

Should I be worried? I was distro hopping for a bit and put together a Ventoy drive to make that easier, and I used it to boot the install iso for the distro I ultimately decided on for my gaming laptop. It seemed highly recommended and I didn’t know about the Ventoy bros at that point.

The mechanism is fundamental to the product - a see n say is the spinning wheel -> random noise and Pokemon is video game where you throw balls at wild not-animals to catch them and use them to battle people. There’s a difference between a toy that’s heavily inspired by another one and being an edgy five year old with a firearm sticker pack who gives them to the cows and chickens and sheep.

Especially the people getting this update, PC has had this update for like six months already, this announcement is for Switch and mobile versions. Android is the only one that can install mods and not always well.
