Downvote for cropping out the artist name.
They’re not getting traffic to their site by us rehosting the image - all they ask is that their image is unedited to highlight credit. It’s not much to ask.

Why is this such a big problem on here? We don’t upvote OPs because they made the art, we upvote them because they are (supposed to be) good curators. Give credit, dammit.

Oh man - that gigantic, slightly painful super booger you send out of your sinus’ when you finally are getting better. Ungghh.
If it dries a little and “peels” off from somewhere deep inside… and the relief that comes with something 4" deep in my sinuses being dislodged is one of lifes great moments.
I had sinus surgery in my teens and as a result I know exactly where that crust builds up, because it no longer sheds automatically for me, and has to be manually removed regularly! Super fun!
However, it feels exactly the same amount of satisfying you describe… almost every time.
How does the removal process work? Self-administered?
Gross enough, but I usually just use my pinky finger to dislodge it and then blow it out in a tissue. I’ve tried using things like cotton swabs, but they just cause bleeding, and neti pots just rehydrate it and make me congested. But because they moved my septum over, my pinky goes all the way up until it hits a bone ridge, roughly the entire length of said pinky in there, which is where the stuff forms up, lots of wrinkles and stuff up there to catch on.
For me the mucus the starts sliding down my throat, gets lodged in my bronchioles, and I wake up in the middle of the night gasping for air and coughing so hard I puke.
