I’m not in the military. I also don’t have health care, and when I had jobs that offered the family plans were incredibly expensive. The military is sometimes just the only way your going to get healthcare for you kids, especially if you don’t have good education or other skills. I’m a mechanic and it’s hard to get a GOOD family plan without giving half your salary for it.
