I’ve always found it humorous that in all of the movies I’ve seen, you never once see a musketeer use a musket. Just saying, it’s odd.
They were originally equiped with musket as guards, but muskets are slow loading and cumbersome so, other than guard duty, they relied on swords and pistols.
Next you’ll tell me that there really was a Count of Monte Cristo and completely blow my mind.
