I have two of these but the 4GB models for my servers! They’re great when you just need something to display console text to the screen but don’t have an iGPU
I’d argue they are overkill for that, almost to a ridiculous degree.
I’m definitely open to suggestions but what other GPUs are there that are under $100 CAD and can fit into a 2u chassis?
The biggest problem with that generation of hardware is not that the hardware itself is incapable, but that nvidia has dropped driver support for it, which makes it harder to keep your systems up to date.

Ya. A used 3050 is cheaper than that, still has 8 outputs and 8gb of VRAM. Its cool to see this done as a hobby project but it sounds like this guy just bought it as is, so what’s the point?
