That would never have happened. Epic was the only publisher wanting to touch the franchise with a ten foot pole, and this was the stipulation. Thanks to them, we got a wonderful and unique work of art. I would rather the game exists in its current state even if it means fewer copies sold, than it not exist at all or in a lesser version. I’d wager Sam Lake and Remedy feel the same way. This was their baby, their passion project.
