There were a lot of high profile cases where one of the two were nearing the end of their life, and the family that were pissed about having a “gay son” who hadn’t talked to them in 20 years were the ones making the decisions instead of the husband who wasn’t technically a husband in the legal system for 20 years.
There are, but there are also a lot of drawbacks to bring divorced multiple times. This also depends on how long and far the person is taking at the “getting to know each other” stage before marriage, etc as well
