Tell them to join Lemmy lol, now seems like a good time for them

There can be security issues though. And I think it sounds like it won’t be growing from here, for social media that means it probably won’t take long to shrink a lot. If the current feature set and UX didn’t attract a huge userbase, then keeping it the same certainly won’t help.
If it was an offline video game or software then it would be different.

I think it was a bug because I remember some of the stats added up to more than 100%

We have posts already. Even if we literally did not have any existing posts, optimizing for maximum comments per post means you make at most one post per community per day.
And most importantly you should be eager to reply to comments in your posts, if you posted it then it would be something you’re interested in.
Honestly looking at your profile, you don’t do too bad. Maybe just slow it down slightly and allow the posts to get saturated with comments, post about the things that you’re most interested in, and give it a personal touch so you’re not just a bot.
And stop using AI for comments lol, Lemmy hates AI

Lemmy does not need more posts, it needs more comments. It needs the personal touch of people manually reading and responding to the posts with their own personality.
If we wanted more posts we would just be using RSS feeds, we’re all here for the comments. And you making many posts dilutes the commentators so that most posts end up with 0 comments. Posting needs to be properly paced to ensure maximum comments per post. And real human comments, not AI or copy pasted.

this is how you know they’re afraid of Linux
maybe one day there will be an immutable Kubuntu
I’ve heard Bazzite has issues with updates sometimes though. I feel like their release cycle is too fast and they aren’t able to keep up with testing at that pace.

I loved Stuntman Ignition

No I agree. The Fediverse needs more algorithm driven frontends for people who want that. The only one I know of is for Lemmy not Mastodon

Maybe do a weekly recap thread or just post highlight videos to draw people in.
This is a great idea. I’m never going to open a match thread, but if I see a highlight clip I’ll probably watch it. Keep the spam down and it’ll grow organically.

how come the fediverse has attracted a grand total of zero e-sports people?
I try to keep [email protected] posted with big tournaments, and [email protected] but I know that doesn’t count as esports lol

From the comments there
– the linux claims. i dealt personally over years with broken nvidia hardware. patching manually the kernel so a noteobok will work. i doubt the kernel downgrade / version hardcoding is solved in 2026. it was not in 2023, the last time i tested for months a nvidia 960 in gnu gentoo linux again. Before i bought a radeon one, again.
Always the people who tried Linux many years ago that complain the most lol

didn’t TW3 already get a remaster? lol this looks good though, and it’s a free upgrade!

oh I guess that’s why people post IGN videos lol

If Discord can read the device ID, every other website or program can?
mostly agree, but I think it might just be the Discord program that has access, not websites

Lemmy already does tell you this by title, so it would be cool if it did it by URL too
I think the Boost for Lemmy app does this
Yes exactly this. When you post something you should be ready to engage with the comments
