Vegan recipes are usually really good. I just add meat since I like higher protein meals (not that it’s needed).
I follow a disc golfer who has been Vegan all his life. When someone asked about it and how he gets all the nutrients he needed, he said all nutrients come from plants, he’s just skipping the middleman.

I like that actually. A lot of vegan recipes have stuff I’m allergic to for protein (I can’t eat any legumes), but I could try a vegan recipe and just add meat and make a few replacements since I won’t be needing the lentils or beans or whatever for protein. You’ve given me a good idea.

It just means I’m mostly limited to stereotypical white suburban Sunday meals if that makes sense. We do a lot of chicken/beef, potato of some kind, and simple vegetable like carrots or broccoli, as most of our dinners. It’s a good thing I like those meals.

Yeah, I would like those too (except the meat maybe. I just can’t seem to like the taste of any I ever tried).
Dehydrated seeds and beans tend to be too good a fit for me though and it would make it pretty hard for me to keep a healthy diet without them.

            • They are easy to process. Don’t require carefully cutting stuff up or peeling (which can be harder) and all I need to do is keep them in water for a while and then pressure cook them.
            • If I want to add vegetables, I can just add them when making the curry.
            • The same tomato-onion-ginger-garlic combination works for the sauce for all types of them and adding some Cinnamon at the right time fixes any gastrointestinal issues I tend to have.
